Ngutuni sanctuary boasts of a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary surrounded on three sides by Tsavo East National Park. Ngutuni lodge, which is in this sanctuary overlooks a waterhole and is set against a spectacular backdrop of the Sagala Hills. Ngutuni Sanctuary was once the home of the infamous ‘man eating lions of Tsavo’ who preyed on men constructing the railway line between Mombasa and Kampala in the 19th Century , the sanctuary and surrounding national park are best know today for their fantastic variety of wildlife including lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo as well as a huge variety of plains game and birdlife. |

Day 1: Mombasa – Ngutuni Sanctuary
You will be picked early in the morning from your hotel and driven by our safari driver/guide to Ngutuni Sanctuary arriving in good time for mid morning game drive, followed by lunch at the Ngutuni safari Lodge. Spend 2 hours of the afternoon in the lodge overlooking the waterhole by the lodge which attracts a great number of animals. Leave for evening game drive at around 4pm returning to the lodge before 7pm for dinner and overnight. From your lodge you can view more resident animal come to drink. Day 2: Ngutuni – Mombasa Early breakfast will be followed by a morning game drive in the private sanctuary before exiting the sanctuary and drive back to your coastal hotel arriving in early afternoon for lunch. |
